Teacher Appreciation Week is upon us! Some ironies of the week are too juicy to not raise the corners of our mouths or the ire of our gaze. The national confusion over which week is actually the time when we'll appreciate teachers in 2017, for example. Or a friend whose school is hosting an appreciation luncheon, potluck style! Teachers all get to contribute… to their own appreciation meal. Seriously. The little things make a difference.

But for those of us in the work of teaching, its necessity and importance is not in question. To that end, Tch is celebrating our favorite difference makers this week by highlighting some of our very best videos and blog posts that shine a light on how very important you are and how the work you do each day matters. And I invite you to appreciate your own efforts by taking a few minutes for your own growth. We have a new video series on scientific argumentation and modeling for primary learners, a creative twist for your exit tickets, using storytelling to launch professional learning, and a wealth of ways to engage English Language Learners.

Thank you for all you do!
