Member,
How did you find your teaching style? This week's 4 part series hones in on the collaboration between two partner teachers - whose styles could not be more different. In my first year teaching, I was lucky enough to have a great coach and lead teacher whose classes I was able to observe. I begged, borrowed, and stole every practice, routine, and worksheet I could from these two inspiring educators, but something didn't feel quite right. Finding your teaching style takes time, opportunities to see other teachers in action, and a little trial and error.
If you know or support new teachers seeking their own style, we hope you'll find Teaching Channel a valuable resource. You can:
- Share links to our videos anywhere you want
- Use our "Notes" feature to highlight key areas of videos before you share
- Use our videos in your trainings and in-service days
Drop us a line on Facebook or Twitter, and let us know how you're using our films. Your work inspires us and pushes us forward!

New Feature
Did you know...
* You can share the link to your notes with 1 person or many
* You can take notes just for you or use your notes to point out interesting points to another teacher
If you want to see how this works, check out my notes for "Wraparound Learning Experience!" I picked out all of my favorite moments in Ms. Silbernagel's class.
Send me a link to your notes (on any video), and we'll choose one to publish in next week's newsletter!
