Hi Member,
Please join me in welcoming a new voice at Teaching Channel!
Sarah Wessling is a high school English teacher from Johnston, Iowa and also just so happens to be an author of a new book on the Common Core and the 2010 National Teacher of the Year. Ever modest about her hard work and dedication, she says, "One of the misconceptions about the recognition is that it's all about the honor, when in fact it's about growing into what a National Teacher of the Year can be."
In just a few short weeks, I've learned so much from Sarah. I look forward to learning much more from her as she shares her challenges and realizations in her new weekly blog (
read her first entry here) on Teaching Channel and opens up the doors of her classroom to our film crews throughout the year.
See our
video profile of Sarah.
Join us for a new learning opportunity at Teaching Channel, and wish Sarah a warm welcome!
Marie
