Dear Member,
When the end of the month comes, I find myself trying to guess what the top video of the month might be. Sometimes it’s easy—videos that are getting the most comments can often be the most popular. That’s certainly the case for July. The video we featured just a couple of weeks ago because it was receiving so many positive comments is indeed our top video in July.

The Wingman: Engaging Reluctant Students, an engagement strategy, had almost twice as many viewers as our #2 video, Setting the Tone from Day One, a classroom management strategy.

The balance of our Top Five features a broad range of topics from ELA to Math to innovative coaching. Read on to see what other educators are saying about each of these popular videos.
Teacher Laureate at Teaching Channel
“I like the structure provided to students. The verb starters are a great resource to prompt thinking.”
“This is extremely helpful and constructive. I like the positive approach.” I should note the comments also include an interesting debate on whether real-time coaching would be distracting. What do you think?
“I love the way you promote thinking and talking about numbers while allowing the children to develop understandings at their own pace.”
