Teaching Channel Starts Search for Chief Development Officer Who Is Passionate About Inspiring Teachers

Nonprofit org launches nationwide effort for top fundraiser

San Francisco, CA – Today, Teaching Channel (Tch) announces its search for a Chief Development Officer. This new position will be instrumental in connecting donors with an interest in education on a national, regional or local level with meaningful initiatives focused on helping teachers improve their practice and better serve the needs of their students.

"This is a key position, and addition to the Teaching Channel senior management team, as the organization grows and develops," said Alan Arkatov, Chief Executive Officer. "The person who fills this position must be energized by our start-up environment, and passionate about inspiring teachers, advancing education, and ultimately improving student learning in the classroom."

For this position, Tch is looking for a collaborative self-starter who is comfortable working with senior level executives at foundations, corporations and educational institutions. The Chief Development Officer should also have a proven track record of fundraising from a variety of sources, along with a familiarity with pre-K-12 education.
