ConnectEd uses "pathways" to help students of all abilities connect learning to their interests and career goals. A pathway spans grades 9 to 12, connects high school and postsecondary institutions, ensures a smooth transition after graduation, and integrates rigorous academic instruction with demanding technical curriculum. Pathways are developed around industry sectors, such as finance, environmental design, and health sciences. ConnectEd is a part of the California Linked Learning District Initiative, and is implemented in nine school districts across the state.
