Hi Member,
The closer we come to June, the closer we are to summertime professional development opportunities. I know from planning professional development myself, just how valuable the right resources can be.

With that in mind, this week’s newsletter is in a little different format. Whether it’s to anchor a discussion, illuminate a strategy, or collaborate around a rich classroom experience, we want to help you find some great video tools to enrich those upcoming professional learning events.

In order to help you begin locating resources, we’ve selected five ELA and five Math videos, all spanning across grade levels. As you watch these teachers in action, consider my “windows and mirrors” approach:

1) How does this video give you a window into another teacher’s set of strengths and strategies?

2) How does this video provide a mirror of what you see in yourself as a teacher. What do the windows and mirrors reveal about your own practice?

Teacher Laureate at Teaching Channel
Several teachers are looking for advice from the Tch community this week. Can you help them out?
It's time for this month's Tchers' Voice survey. We are exploring whether Teaching Channel's CCSS videos are deepening your understanding of the Core. Your input is important!
