Hi Member,
Let’s focus on Text Complexity this week—an important component of the Common Core State Standards.  But, before you non-ELA teachers start tuning out, remember text complexity is for all of us who put primary texts in front of students—throughout the entire school.

Text complexity is complex—so as part of our Let’s Chat Core series, I’ve put together a new video webinar that helps navigate the terrain—it’s really my “working definition” of text complexity.

And, to balance things out, below are three Common Core math videos – elementary, middle school, and high school—we’ve got you covered!

P.S. We have a new Tchers' Voice Survey for January. We want to know about your professional development and how you use Teaching Channel. The first 50 people to complete the survey win a $10 DonorsChoose gift card. Take the survey>>
