Hi Member,
We’re already a week into June and we realize this means many of you have closed up your classrooms for a while. But, rest assured our newsletters will keep arriving in your inbox all summer long!

Last year we learned from you that summer offers the time to engage more deeply in your professional learning. So, we’re setting up a series of video “playlists” that we’ll share each week in this newsletter. We hope they will help entice you with new ideas and inspiration as you already begin thinking about next year. Look for the playlists starting next week.

But, this week we're featuring our top three most-watched videos from May.

Improving Participation with Talk Moves comes in at #3. It’s been a huge hit for two months. Ms. Simpson shares her formula for encouraging discourse in her classroom. It works for many grades and subjects.

Higher Order Questions: A Path to Deeper Learning is our #2 video. Ms. Francisco illuminates some key Common Core practices as she teaches her middle schoolers to construct and discuss higher order questions.

And… drumroll please… our top video in May: Learning Difficult Vocabulary. Thousands of Tch members have checked out Ms. Niebur’s strategy for helping students absorb new vocabulary before diving into a complex lesson.
