I am a high school algebra teacher in NY. I am looking for ideas, help, direction to integrate technology into my classroom so my students can apply some of the algebra concepts they are learning to real-life and relevant situations. I have a 3D printer available to my classes and want to create a meaningful lesson using it. I don't want to just print on the 3D printer to say I did it. I would like to come up with something introductory that is relevant. I just recently started using code.org with my classes to introduce them to coding and computer science. However, I would like to create some lessons relevant to the algebra curriculum in which they can apply some of the concepts they are learning to real-life examples involving coding. I have a Tech Coach who can help me, but I need some ideas and direction to bring to the Coach so we can implement them in my classroom. Any help/guidance/resources/ideas/lessons/etc that anyone can provide me with will be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
