Do you have any specific questions? I don't teach AP Spanish but I have taught other APs before and maybe I could offer some general insight?
Thank you for your reply. I am interested in the text book used since this course has been changed. I ordered the textbook TEMAS.
OK, sorry - guess I can't help in that area! Good luck!
We are using "A toda Vela" it has great resources like tema however it is aligned to the test and is broken up into the los temas del examen and gives great examples. The company is EMC publishing and they do send out sample copies to teachers.
Best of luck.
I am currently using Triangulo. Based on my experience at Summer Institute, I think it's the best book.
I am teaching this course and using both TEMAS and Triangulo. I would love to start a collaboration if you're interested. I've started the year with the Global Challenges theme and have come up with a few decent lessons. We could share ideas if you are interested. Thanks.
How long have you all been teaching AP & what kind of success have your students had on the exam?
I'm working to develop an AP curriculum for the coming school year. Our first with AP Spanish. We chose Temas. I'd love to collaborate and hear ideas from any experienced AP teachers.
I am a AP Spanish teacher. How can I help?
Yes, it would be good to collaborate around AP Spanish. I am always looking for ideas for day to day activities to incorporate. I like variety, as well as my students, so I'd like to know what types of routines others may incorporate in their classes.
I am currently using Temas and AP Spanish Practicing for the Language Exam by Jose Diaz. As resources I use various other books, Triangulo, etc. Of course the Youtube has a wealth of materials as well.
Check out Edmodo.com. There is a group for just that topic. They share great resources, answer each others' questions, share ideas. And it's free!
