Question Detail

Are there any teachers who have been successful in writing grants for technology? If so, where did you submit your grants? Any advice when writing a grant would be greatly appreciated as well.

I teach in a small rural community. I believe our lack of technology limits our students learning as well as the teachers' ability to engage and deliver lessons through "current" methods. I would love to submit a grant for a class set of ipads, but have no idea where to begin.

I teach in a very small, rural school. There are about 350 kids K-12. We have recently joined another educational service center here, and they offer free grant writing for us. So, if we find a grant and don't know how to apply for it or don't have the time. They do that for us. Maybe there is something like that available to you?

Christina and Chelsey, both of your responses are very helpful and a good place to start. I will try both. Thank you very much for taking the time to respond.
