Can I apply for out-of-state licensure?
I will be graduating with my 7-12 licensure in May, and my husband as 1 year left for his Master's. He's looking at schools for his doctorate in a wide variety of states (Florida, SC, California, Illinois, the list goes on!) and his "plan" changes almost every week. At a mock interview observation, the lady running it had said that it was a good idea to apply for out-of-state licensure when you apply for the job because it shows proactive thinking... but if this isn't for another year, is it a bad idea to start applying for out-of-state licensure now?
