Can I sign my teaching contract without being fully certified?

      Yes, you can sign a contract to teach on a probationary certificate unless the terms of the contract explicitly state that you must hold a standard license. However, requiring a standard license would be a very unusual thing for the school/district to include in the contract, especially since your school has offered you a teaching job as a probationary teacher.
