Do you believe it to be a good idea to advice teachers to supplement and take out pieces of the engage skills modules in grades k-3?
I am a literacy coach and work with grades k-3. The teachers are really at a fork in the road with believing that the engage modules are giving their student’s all the tools that they need to learn how to read. Should I encourage them to follow the modules because it will work out in the end? Or should I push them to supplement and add when they want. Please help me and I hope there are other educators that following the modules as well and could offer up some advice. Thank you!
