Question Detail

Does anyone else find that their "trouble student" is actually pretty funny? It's hard to enforce classroom rules when you're laughing or just amused by how some students act out or speak up. How do you approach this?

it's best to find out the students back ground there home status how the parents deals with issues like this and maybe you can take it from there and dealt with the problem.

I'd talk to them individually and discretely (outside the classroom), acknowledge that I find them funny, and try to work out when it's appropriate to act out in those ways (provide some opportunities for comic relief) and when and why it's not appropriate to do so.
