Question Detail

Hi.. I teach a international school that in every class' habits is dividing the students into groups, according to their ability. But the difficulty is, when I am teaching the 1st group, the other group could be so noisy and sometimes they're doing their tasks too quick then like disturb me (I can't fully concentrated in my 1st group). Do you have any suggestion for this situation? Thanks before

How about having the other group work independently time prior sharing with the group? I love using the part to whole concept. Maybe use Lauren's journal idea to have them synthesize their individual thoughts prior to convening as group. This should also allow each student a greater voice within the group.
