How do I deal with cross cultural differences in the classroom

Jul 2, 2014 10:13pm

We have large numbers of study abroad students in our school. Particularly Brazilian, German and Italian.
I am looking for ideas of what to do or not to do, to assist their learning and enjoyment of their stay.

      Marianna-

It's definitely important to model tolerance with students who have diverse cultural background. Teaching Tolerance is an awesome free publication which has lesson ideas and additional resources to help teachers create a global classroom. If you sign up, they also give you some beautiful posters for your room. Check it out: http://www.tolerance.org/

      Hope this helps,
