Do you have a colleague who does the same position? If not at your school what about a neighboring school? If I were you, I would reach out and schedule a meeting (before school starts) with a colleague,instructional coach and/or curriculum specialist at your district. From there, I would ask for the curriculum materials, a pacing guide (if it exists),common assessments, etc. Also get an understanding of how closely you are expected to follow the pacing guide - some are to be followed very closely and others are more of a guide but less rigid.
