I'm looking for a text I can use for my lower readers in my AP Government class. Any suggestions?

      Instead of differentiating instruction, is there any way you can provide students with directed reading guides so they can access the more difficult text. If they all have to take the AP exam, maintaining the rigor of text will help to prepare them for that. Maybe you could prepare a document that teaches readers how to analyze complex text - focusing on reading strategies, text features, etc... Also, you could find some documents that are high interest/high readability because they increase engagement. Newsweek and Time are great for that.
