fun and entertaining projects but has to do with learning
these projects are for 1st grade and kindergarden
What are the students interested in?
What standards would you like to focus on?
drop me a note and I can send you projects I do with my 8th and AP classes and maybe you can modify them and adjust them for your classes a s well.
I've found that with K/1 students the best way to engage them is to create ongoing in depth learning experiences for them around a specific subject. For example, I am currently teaching a semester long multi-subject unit on the forest. We are going on walking field trips to sketch trees, sewing animals, and writing a play. This will all culminate in an end of semester open house to share with their families.
