I use Lessonpix.com which is only $3.00 a month. You can print visual cues to assist the student during transition. Show the 2 year old the colorful picture about 30 seconds before transitioning. It would be beneficial if the picture is colored and laminated.
Instead of using pictures, maybe photographs of the actual places in their environment will help. Photograph of carpet time, nap area, etc.
Also, using certain actual objects for specific places can work. For example, a block for activity time, small empty pretzel bag for snack time, small fabric swatch for nap time, etc.
Hope this helps!

I like to use songs to keep transitions focused and happy with young children. Songs that you can insert children's names into facilitate one-at-a-time movement while keeping all the children focused and engaged as they listen for their name.
