How are new teacher evaluations tied to the CCSS? Is that a state based decision? How does your district's evaluation look?

My district uses the Charlotte Danielson Model. How about yours? The focus is on 3e, 1b, and the other I forgot. The most important thing is to teach and have an activity for the students.

In Massachusetts, every teacher in the state is evaluated using the same rubric. It is not specifically aligned to the Common Core, but it does require teachers to use Rigorous Standards-Based Unit Design, so if the teacher is in a CCSS subject area, they would certainly be evaluated on that.
