Good day-
I am teaching Language Arts Middle School students and would like a good Teachers Textbook to use to plan my lesson. Any help would be appreciated.

      Cynthia-

In my district, we use Journeys Common Core which is already aligned to the Core, so the lessons provided in that text have been vetted. As for additional resources, UDL Exchange is a great tool to build universally designed Common Core lessons. You can check out that tool here: http://udlexchange.cast.org/home

Also, there are a number of sites where teachers post their Common Core lessons, so you may be able to find a great tool there. http://katienovakudl.com/free-common-core-resources/

Lastly, the International Reading Association has some awesome books about Common Core ELA. I read all of them and it really helped me to understand the shifts. http://www.reading.org/general/Publications/Books/BK9245.aspx

      Hope this helps,
      Katie
