Something that I recently started doing with my morning intervention group is to let them complete fluency passages with each other from Reading A-Z and we track on a daily basis how many each student reads correctly. It is sort of like our Do Now where I set up for 2-3 minutes and they are working in groups to help each other get better with their reading fluency and WPM. I keep a binder because I transition away from my classroom in order to complete my intervention block before the end of the day.
