What are the Common Core Standards for Secondary Studio Art?

I teach high school visual art and can only find standards for K-8 in Maryland.

      Hi Joan,
      There are no Common Core Standards for art; the CCSS are designed for math & ELA (including literacy in history/social studies, science, & technical subjects). Check out this website for more information: http://www.corestandards.org/the-standards

          I would follow up your question with, "why are there no CCSS standards for art?" My intuition tells me that it is not considered a core course which is why it is subjugated to provide an unequal distribution of resources to the so called core subjects.
