What is the most beneficial part of the teacher observation? Do you feel that it improves your practice?
I am wondering how many teachers feel that the observation process is beneficial to improving their teaching practice. Many administrators have to do observations as part of the evaluation cycle. Are pre-observations conducting? Do teachers present a problem of practice? Is there collaboration? How many evaluations are directly tied to students' performance on a summative assessment regardless of the observation?
