I think the best thing to do is set up a meeting and talk to the teacher. Kindergarten teachers are often the most compassionate people I've ever worked with, and I'm sure the teacher would be willing to talk to you. Kindergarten is a tough year for kids, as it's a huge transition and it may be valuable to ask her what triggers your child to feel upset and maybe you can work together to come up with a plan so your child has a fabulous year. Before thinking about change, just have an honest conversation to address your concerns and hear what she has to say. (:
No teacher should make a child cry, nor should any teacher be negative with a child. If there are issues, there are gentle means. Don't stop asking questions until you get satisfaction for yourself and until your child is happy.
