Question Detail

Which basic apps should I use to back to school and improve productivity/teaching?

Aug 26, 2014 2:05am

Hi,
Iam a primary education teacher.
I have got a tablet 10'1 (android/samsung).

I would like to ask for information about basic apps to help me avoid papers, plan, productivity, etc.. Iam looking forward to find any app that help me do daily work in "primary", specially taking notes, control the class, planning, etc..

I am running android (I notice there are more apps in apple). I understand It would be a con.

At the moment Iam using google drive, evernote, but iam at a standstill, I mean, blocked.

Could you help me?
Thanks for your help.
Mike

      One useful app is https://www.classdojo.com/
You can take attendance, track homework, and participation. I teach middle school, but elementary kids would love it. You can even give parents and students a log-in so that they can keep up with their behavior. Check it out - super easy to set up.

We use schoology which works really well. Kind of like a Facebook for your class that is private and has log-ins for each parent/student.
