I have worked in all levels of education--from developing post-doctoral programs to teaching high school students to directing k-8 after school programs to leading large-scale curriculum projects. The thread of technology and the building and managing of online spaces and tools runs throughout all this work. I have substantial experience designing educational content based on learning research, integrating new media formats (e.g., transmedia experiences) into classroom settings, and building relevant professional development to support educators. I currently work with district leaders, states and schools in creating implementation strategies for video-based professional learning with teachers. I meet with leaders regularly acting as a thought partner who focuses the conversation on the systems change. I also train instructional coaches and teachers and illustrate best practices of video-based professional learning.
