In this Tch DIY video, Tch Laureate and NGSS Squadster Meg Richard films her own classroom in order to show us how she uses singing to help students learn science concepts.

I love how this activity applies to visual, kinesthetic, and auditory learners; that way, everyone can learn! I agree that coming up with a song or tune that everyone is familiar with is difficult. Have you considered using pop songs (i.e. Katy Perry, Ariana Granda, Selena Gomez, etc.)? Most, if not all, middle schoolers will be familiar with those artists and their songs. I also love the use of movement. Dancing is a great way to relieve stress and engage students. Great video!
