Thought starters

  1. What does Ms. Frood mean when she says, "You are teaching children, not a subject"?
  2. How does Ms. Caren use questions to guide student learning?
  3. What strategies were used to develop students' reasoning skills?

Another brilliant video which will prove so useful as our US teachers shift to the CCSS. Loads to notice about both teacher and student learning. Lovely.

The headteacher of Eleanor Palmer Primary School outlines her role in maintaining standards in the school, as the programme focuses on a maths classroom observation and feedback session.
