Hi, Sarah. First, it's really great to see you on Teaching Channel again. (I admit I haven't been here as often since you left. You are definitely my teaching guru.) That said, I really loved this video. Seeing/hearing all of the thoughts/processes of the lesson was enlightening. I can't wait to watch all of the videos and re-watch them during the summer when I'll have time to really think about them.

"We're doing it together" to me IS the teaching. So many times teachers already know what they want to do or rely on the same ''problems'' (with the answer key,) that they speed through and leave students behind... but if they see you doing it (''struggling'') as well, that's where students make leaps and bounds with their learning. I never forget this when I'm modeling for my kids. This is also why I shy away from throwing too much at them because it just becomes over whelming.

Do you have a resource for what types of frames to use? I saw: reader response, gender, New Critical, archetypal and psychoanalytical. Are there any other "go to" frames?
